Refund Policy

How subscription billing, cancellations, and refunds work at TryReport.

Last updated: July 10, 2026 · Effective: July 10, 2026

1. Billing

Paid features are billed in advance according to the plan you select on our pricing page. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of report credits that resets at the start of every billing period; unused credits do not roll over. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, which are collected by our payment provider.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings, with no cancellation fee. After you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to the free tier. We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period that has already started.

If you upgrade your plan, the change takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated; if you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

3. Refunds

Fees are charged in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable. Because each report run consumes real compute and third-party data costs at the moment it is generated, we generally do not refund fees for a billing period that has begun or for credits that have been used.

That said, we want you to be satisfied. If you were charged in error, experienced a technical failure that prevented you from using the Service, or believe your situation warrants an exception, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request in good faith. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

4. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Where such rights apply, they take precedence over the terms above.

5. How payments and refunds are processed

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle appears on your card or bank statement and processes any approved refund. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.
